Voter Engagement

Want Mass Movement? The Messenger Matters!

Lessons learned from the largest volunteer-lead, non-partisan, direct voter engagement program in Indiana in 2016.

The results are in! The Analyst Institute studied Faith in Indiana's Integrated Voter Engagement Program in 2016, and the results proved that infrequent voters can take action across ideological lines, shape the issue environment and change the electorate to build governing power. The key? Relationships!

Our two-page summary report shares key findings from the Analyst Institute's research, as well as the tactics we used to garner the results that changed the future of Indiana, despite the fact that we were seeking a large, progressive tax in a conservative environment during a contentious election cycle.

The results prove that IndyCAN (name changing to Faith in Indiana soon!) has changed and will continue to change the electorate! By building relationships, we are building a movement toward racial and economic equity in Indiana!
